For our recent project involving a Mediterranean-inspired residence in the exclusive neighborhood of Forbes Park, Makati, the task was to select a window treatment that would complement the warm, timeless elegance of the architecture while managing the intense tropical sunlight streaming into the staircase area. Mediterranean architecture is defined by its rich textures, earthy color palettes, wrought iron details, and warm architectural elements. Standard modern window coverings often feel too sterile or lightweight against heavy stone tiles, arched doorways, and deep wood finishes. To harmonize with these grand classic features, we selected and installed custom real wood blinds.
